Mike Fields

Mike Fields is a manufacturing leader with a unique blend of technical expertise, instructional design, and quality management experience. Currently serving as a Program Quality Manager at Collins Aerospace, Mike leads process improvement initiatives across multiple sites. During his tenure at Acutec Precision Aerospace, he held several leadership roles focused on quality engineering, training, and continuous improvement—reducing customer escapes by 75% and managing new machinist training programs.

Holding a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Management from Penn State Behrend, Mike has also taught adult learners in both formal and informal settings. His strength lies in distilling complex topics like Lean Six Sigma, APQP, and SPC into clear, actionable learning experiences.
