Matt Barker

Matt Barker is a highly experienced manufacturing engineer and applications expert with a strong teaching background. As a Regional Technical Specialist at Iscar Metals, Matt supports customers and sales teams across multiple states, delivering advanced training on machining processes and tooling strategies. His previous roles include engineering and supervisory positions at American Turned Products and DMG America, where he specialized in high-precision, multi-spindle CNC operations.

Since 2002, Matt has taught adult education courses through the Manufacturer & Business Association and Erie Institute of Technology, covering blueprint reading, GD&T, CNC programming, and quality control. With over 25 years of experience, Matt’s dynamic teaching style connects real-world shop floor experience with classroom learning.
