Learn 3D CAD modeling with SolidWorks to design parts and assemblies for manufacturing.

  • Overview of SolidWorks capabilities and interface
  • Navigating the interface and sketching tools
  • Converting sketches into 3D models
  • Creating assemblies and defining part relationships
  • Creating detailed drawings for manufacturing
  • Using advanced features for complex designs
  • Conducting stress and motion analysis
  • Designing for sheet metal and welded structures
  • Applying all skills to design a functional product
  • Sharing designs and collaborating using SolidWorks tools
  • Analyzing and improving an existing design
  • Presenting final projects and receiving feedback
