Understand workplace safety protocols, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures.

 

Course Content:

  • Overview of safety regulations and best practices
  • Recognizing workplace risks and safety violations
  • Proper use of PPE for different tasks
  • Operating machinery safely and understanding lockout/tagout (LOTO)
  • Techniques for safely lifting and transporting materials
  • Fire prevention and response protocols
  • Understanding risks associated with electrical systems
  • Conducting safety audits in a workshop setting
  • Developing comprehensive safety checklists for routine inspections
  • Understanding OSHA compliance and standards
  • Identifying and addressing hazards in a mock environment
